Greene King to Adopt Free to Use ATM's

Cashbox is pleased to announce that it has been asked to survey a further 197 pubs within the estate of existing client Greene King, with a view to installing cash machines on a Free to Use basis. Initial results suggest that around 80 locations meet the necessary criteria.

Greene King has been a client of Cashbox since December 2003, and currently has 495 cash machines in its estate, all of which are operated by Cashbox under its surcharge model.

Ciaran Morton, Chief Executive, of Cashbox, stated:

"This is an exciting development for Cashbox as more and more customers look to adopt Free to Use machines. Free to Use is a relatively new concept for us but already represents 7% of our overall machine estate and, tellingly, these generate 15% of all of our transactions. In higher footfall locations this model presents excellent benefits for our clients and their customers and we believe that this represents a very exciting opportunity for Cashbox. "
